The Faerie House
My Great Grandfather always said you shouldn't get rid of cobwebs as they are someone's home.
The faerie house came about when we moved into our new home, the house had been empty for months and when we moved in we ripped it apart cobwebs and all! After that the house just felt unsettled so as I decorated a room I added a faerie house, in them I placed gifts of seeds, dried flowers and sparkly stars. I apologised for the disruption and said that I hoped they liked what I had done and if they wanted to stay they would be most welcome. After that the house seemed a lot happier.
Place the faerie house wherever you feel it should go, in a corner, on the floor beside a cupboard or tucked on a shelf, add what you wish and welcome anything that decides to live there, including any spiders!
The houses are approx 15cm square in size
